Khimki Moscow guard Alexey Shved is widely considered as the best scorer in Europe and carries the credential for it since he won the “Alphonso Ford Top Scorer” in EuroLeague last season. And in the first two matches of 2018-2019, his production from beyond the arc was superior to not only players… but teams.
The 15 3-pointers that Shved made in the first two matches of the 2018-2019 EuroLeague regular season were more than what five (yes five) different teams had in these rounds.
Shved surpassed the 3-point production of Gran Canaria (14), Panathinaikos (11), Bayern Munich (12), Darussafaka (12) and Zalgiris Kaunas (12). And what is more impressive is that he did so with some pretty accurate shooting since his 3-point percentage was 53.6 percent (15/28).
