Erick Green will be Fenerbahce’s replacement for Tyler Ennis (out indefinitely due to injury) and Eurohoops caught up with the American combo guard after the news of the deal between the two sides.
27-year-old Green, who spent the previous season with Valencia, mentions that is “happy to play for a big club with great success all these past years” that also has “famous fans“.
Green wants to reach the pinnacle of Europe with the Turkish club by winning the EuroLeague, after missing the trophy in the title game in 2017, as he told Eurohoops: “I’m looking forward to fighting for championships. Especially about Euroleague, Fener didn’t allow me to win it as a member of Olympiacos, so it would be really special to get it done together at 2019!”
