Nick Calathes broke the single-season assists record in EuroLeague last year. He dished 249 for Panathinaikos. However he seems ready to reach even higher levels in 2018-19, while surpassing players like Pablo Prigioni, Juan Carlos Navarro and Nikos Zisis in the total assists list.
In his first five games, the 29-year-old guard averaged nine assists per game dishing 45 totally. He is on pace for 270 assists during the regular season, even more if the “greens” progress further. He is only 40 assists from a spot in the assists’ Top 10, but he probably won’t settle for 10th place by the end of the season.
