Khimki Moscow guard Alexey Shved will be out for the upcoming EuroLeague game vs. Real Madrid Thursday (15/11) due to illness, the club announced. The player fell sick and the coaching staff decided for him to stay in Russia and not risk his health.
Shved is currently leading the EuroLeague in scoring and PIR with 25.8 and 24.2 respectively. This will be the first EuroLeague game he misses in the last two seasons.
Khimki has a 1-5 record in EuroLeague while Real Madrid is one of the two undefeated teams (along with CSKA Moscow), standing at the top of the standings with 6-0.
