San Antonio Spurs GM RC Buford, together with the head of international scouting of the team Claudio Crippa, are present in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague game between Olympiacos and Fenerbahce held in Piraeus, Greece.
Olympiacos’ starting center is Spurs’ stashed big Nikola Milutinov while former San Antonio player Joffrey Lauvergne plays for Fenerbahce.
This isn’t the first time that Buford attends an Olympiacos game in order to check out Milutinov. The Serbian center is currently producing 11.2 points and 7.2 rebounds per game in EuroLeague.
Apart from Milutinov and Lauvergne, another player in the game that could potentially make an NBA jump next summer, such as Fenerbahce forward Nicolo Melli. The Italian player has an NBA out in his contract with Fener.
