Gran Canaria Arena’s floor has created dangers for the players in Gran Canaria’s first four EuroLeague home games. EuroLeague recently informed the Spanish club that it must replace its playing floor ahead of its next home match. The team immediately took action and replaced the court with the previous one.
Gran Canaria explained via announcement the various issues it faced in its debut EuroLeague season and proposed the use of its previous court as a temporary measure. The Spaniards will now proceed testing the new floor awaiting EuroLeague’s authorization on its plan.
