Due to personal reasons, Ramon Sessions asked to be released from his contract with Maccabi Tel Aviv so he could return to the USA immediately and his request has been granted, the club announced.
Maccabi and Sessions had a three-month deal signed on November 3 with an option for the remainder of the season.
The 32-year-old NBA veteran played two games in EuroLeague with Maccabi this season and scored 18 points in total.
Just two weeks after his arrival, Sessions leaves the team and Maccabi seems to be back on the market for a guard unless injured Jereme Pargo gets back into action soon.
