Zalgiris Kaunas finally broke the homecourt curse and grabbed an 83-78 victory over AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milan in Round 10 of Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and improved to a 4-6 record in the standings.
“This is the most important. We had to get one at home. It was a little bit of pressure on us to take the first win. Just plugging along in this EuroLeague, picking up some wins and hopefully improving”, Sarunas Jasikevicius admitted after the game.
Brandon Davies stepped up for the Lithuanian side with another big performance, breaking his own personal best for the second consecutive game!
