CSKA Moscow guard Cory Higgins “erupted” in a timely manner to push his team towards a win over Real Madrid on the road.
Higgins entered the second half with four points but went off in the mid of the third period with 20 points in the 15 minutes remaining in the match. The American player’s performance included key baskets that helped CSKA establish and preserve a solid lead in the last stretch of the game.
In the end, Higgins finished with a season-high 24 points (9/16 f.g.) plus four assists.
