Darussafaka boosted its roster with Toney Douglas. The Turkish club announced the 32-year-old American’s guard acquisition Wednesday morning. Douglas is expected to be among Darussafaka’s leaders on the court for the rest of the season.
The former NBA player will return to the EuroLeague, where he played last year with Anadolu Efes. He started the 2018-19 season with Sakarya and averaged 15.6 points, 7.3 assists and five rebounds in the Turkish BSL, also played six FIBA Europe Cup matches and two Basketball Champions League qualifiers.

His new team is struggling in the EuroLeague with only one win in its first ten games. It’s Super Ligi season isn’t that much better, as it has only secured three victories and lost its other five matches.
