Theo Papaloukas, the retired two-time EuroLeague champion and the competition’s first MVP off the bench, is widely considered one of the best to ever play the game as well as the three-time EuroLeague champion Vassilis Spanoulis.
They clashed against each other many times but in the 2010-11 season, they were teammates playing together for Olympiacos under coach Dusan Ivkovic. They made it to the EuroLeague Top 8 but Montepaschi Siena stopped them in their tracks.
