Devin Booker third season at Bayern Munich came to a sudden stop due to an ankle injury.
He underwent surgery and will remain on the sidelines for several weeks per the German Champions’ announcement. The 27-year-old American forward/center got hurt at the beginning of the second half of the recent EuroLeague Regular Season Day 11 game with Khimki Moscow Region.
Booker had played in all of Bayern’s first eleven Turkish Airlines EuroLeague matches averaging 8.6 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.5 blocks. In nine easyCredit BBL games he had 10.1 points, five rebounds and 1.7 assists.
