Victor Garcia will take over the role of Gran Canaria head coach for the rest of the season, the club announced. Garcia was the interim coach in the team’s road win over Olimpia Milano.
The 38-year-old became an assistant under Pedro Martinez back in 2010-11 season and has been fulfilling that role in Gran Canaria since.
Gran Canaria was also in talks with coach Martinez but eventually decided to go with Garcia instead.
