With a one-hour format of exclusive one-on-one interviews, The Crossover with Joe Arlauckas goes well beyond the playing court with each podcast to delve into the life experiences that have made his guests who they are today – stars of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.
In the fourth episode of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague’s brand new podcast, The Crossover with Joe Arlauckas, well-traveled bench boss Aleksandar Dzikic of Buducnost VOLI Podgorica takes the chair to talk about his unique formation as a coach.
Dzikic turned to coaching at an early age and was soon studying among the storied Serbian school of masters at Partizan NIS Belgrade, learning at the foot of the great Dule Vujosevic, among others. He parlayed his knowledge into opportunities that soon made him the first NBA assistant coach from Europe with no previous American experience. Since returning to Europe a decade ago, he has taken on challenges in five different countries and hit the jackpot by bringing Buducnost back to the EuroLeague after a 15-year absence.
