Following Barcelona loss to Real Madrid on Thursday, Pierre Oriola talked about what Svetislav Pesic had to say to his players after the EuroLeague Regular Season Round 12 game. The Blaugrana’s head coach kept his players in the locker room for around 40 minutes to express his complaints on their performance against their arch rival.
Oriola’s take on the situation: “I think he [Pesic] said positive things. Negatives only about the game. He told things about the game and the disaster we have done”.
He went on: “We have to stay positive. Because of the rival, it isn’t just a common game but we must think in Malaga. The next game it’s the most important. It was an accident in a disastrous game. We weren’t that good before, when we beat them a few weeks ago in Palau or when we won in difficult arenas like Kaunas, and now we aren’t the worst team”.
