Panathinaikos OPAP managed to defeat Darussafaka Tefken Istanbul in Athens, in what was a tight contest that was decided in the final minutes.
Dinos Mitoglou who was in the starting line up, impacted the game on both ends of the court and eventually had his best game in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague competition, as he was named the game’s MVP. The 22-year old forward finished with a game-high 20 points (6/7 2FG) (1/1 3FG) (5/5), to go along with six rebounds and two steals. His defensive presence in the final minutes were also critical for the team’s success.
