Eurohoops asked a couple of players from Panathinaikos which player from any other EuroLeague club would bring on their team.
There are two guards from EuroLeague powerhouses that dominate the players’ preference. One of them is a “natural” choice for some players since he’s also their teammate on the Greek national team.
Here’s what they answered.
Ian Vougioukas: “Good question. I’d bring Kostas Sloukas”
George Papagiannis: “We are fine with the players we have but… I believe Kostas Sloukas.”
Vangelis Sakelariou: “Nando De Colo”
Stephane Lasme: “You should have signed Stephane Lasme two years ago”
Dinos Mitoglou: “Kostas Sloukas”
Thanasis Antetokounmpo: “I’d like to play with Baskonia‘s power forward. Tornike Shengelia”
Kostas Kalaitzakis: “Nando De Colo”
Ioannis Papapetrou: “Don’t know. I like Nando De Colo a lot. I think he fits on every team.”
DeShaun Thomas: “I’d probably sign Sergio Llull if I was GM. You need this guy on the team who can make big shots and do it all.”
Matt Lojeski: “Somebody like, let’s say Jan Vesely or someone like him”
Nick Calathes: “I like my team so I wouldn’t sign anybody”
