Zalgiris Kaunas’ head coach, Sarunas Jasikevicius wished Panathinaikos OPAP Athens’ former president, Thanassis Gianakopoulos a speedy recovery, regarding his latest health problems.
He said the following in the press-conference after the game: “I want to wish Thanasis Giannakopoulos a healthy recovery. He has some health problems. He is truly one of my favorite people in the world, and hopefully he will recover”.
Jasikeivicius was Giannakopoulos’ player in Panathinaikos, and won one title with him in 2009.
