With seven out of the 16 EuroLeague coaches who started the season already fired, Olympiacos coach David Blatt talked on the matter before the game against Fenerbahce BEKO.
After the win of his team, Zeljko Obradovic, the most succesful coach in the history of the EuroLeague, was also asked on the matter and added his support to his colleagues: “I agree with David Blatt’s comments about coaches. I am sorry for my colleagues. But it’s not in our hands. Team owners and presidents have the power. They are doing whatever they want. If we look at the past, teams who have patience where the ones who reach success. Our job is not easy. There are too many games. Sometimes there is no time to prepare and fix mistakes. But what to do? We have to continue like this”.
