Vasilije Micic scored 21 points on the road against Real Madrid, Anadolu Efes, despite losing 92-84, proved that they can compete with anyone, however, the Serb guard of the Turks doesn’t want to get carried away.
“We are not a team that can look too far ahead“, he said to Eurohoops after the game and while Efes seems to be the favorite for the fourth spot and the home court advantage in the playoffs, Micic is more than cautious.
“It’s still too early to talk about the end of the regular season and there are teams that improve on February. We have a lot of games ahead of us and nothing will be easy“, he added and specifically mentioned about Olympiacos, the team which is currently fifth in the standings: “They are not our main opponents. A lot of teams are equal in quality, we will play against them at home, but every game will be important for us because we don’t have the experience as a team in that kind of a situation“.
