Real Madrid is the third most popular basketball team on the planet when it comes to Facebook followers.
Per information by the club, Real has 15,9 million followers on Facebook. Only the L.A. Lakers and the Chicago Bulls are followed by more fans with 21,6 million and 17,9 million respectively.
Real recently surpassed the Miami Heat in the list of the top clubs in terms of Facebook followers. The “Blancos” is by far the most popular European club and has more than half the followers than most NBA franchises.
