Jacob Wiley will return to Europe reinforcing Gran Canaria. The deal between the two sides is official.
In 2017-18, during his rookie season, he played in the Basketball Champions League with MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg. This time around will be a member of the roster of a EuroLeague club.
The 24-year-old American forward is coming from Australia and the Adelaide 36ers. He averaged 12.3 points and 5 rebounds per contest. Midway through the NBL season, he opted to sign with the Spanish club.
Injury-plagued Gran Canaria is all but eliminated from the EuroLeague with its 6-16 W-L record. Its ACB campaign isn’t much brighter with six wins in the first twenty Spanish League games.
