David Blatt suffering from his back issue following Olympiacos‘ loss in Istanbul and for that reason, and he was unable to attend the post-game press conference.
As Eurohoops was informed by his assistant, Blatt is ‘not feeling good and he is hardly moving’ as a result of the pain.
Blatt ultimately stayed in the locker rooms and he was visited by Anadolu Efes‘ coach Ergin Ataman who went to check his condition. Later on, Blatt said to Eurohoops: “Right now we are having trouble scoring the ball. We are not shooting the ball well and we are turning the ball too much. We need to get back on winning track. It’s not important against who or where.”
And when he was asked if the incidents in the semifinal against Panathinaikos affected his team he simply added: “No.”
