Gran Canaria announced the addition of American forward/center Cory Jefferson. The player signed a contract for the remainder of the season.
Jefferson, 28, last played with Guangzhou Long-Lions in China. He was to enter the 2018-2019 season as a player of Turkish Euroleague team Darussafaka Tekfen but the club parted ways with him after a failed medical. The player’s side later denied that that was the case.
With Gran Canaria, Jefferson will return to EuroLeague following a 13-game stint with Olimpia Milano in 2017-2018.
