Jan Vesely is expected to play in Fenerbahce’s EuroLeague Regular Season Round 23 match against Darussaraka Tekfen. The 28-year-old Czech was out from late January due to injury but started training this week. He progressed beyond his initial timetable and barring a setback will be in action on Friday, per the Turkish club’s press officer.
Before being sidelined, Vesely averaged 14.4 points, 5,6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.7 steals and 0.5 blocks per EuroLeague contest. He played in 19 matches starting eight times.
Joffrey Lauvergne is out alongside Tyler Ennis, but is progressing towards his return. The rest of Zeljko Obradovic’s players are available.
Fenerbahce is on top of the EuroLeague standings with a 19-3 W-L record. The Turkish team has already sealed a playoffs ticket, but still need victories to secure first place.
