EuroLeague’s leader in scoring and performance index rating in February, Mike James, was announced MVP of the Month by EuroLeague. The 28-year-old American guard also ranked second in assists boosting AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milan W-L record in Europe’s premier competition to 13-11.
His impressive performances have firmly placed streaking Milan in the playoffs race. During his team’s undefeated February run, James averaged 18.8 points, 4.5 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 6.3 fouls drawn per contest while shooting 60% from two-point range. He had 21.8 PIR per game.
