The newly founded EuroLeague coaches union, which is called “EuroLeague Head Coaches Board” will be presented on Wednesday in Madrid.
Zeljko Obradovic will be the first president, Pablo Laso will serve as the vice-president and Goran Sasic is the executive director of the association.
Xavi Pascual, Neven Spahija, Ahmet Caki and Georgios Bartzokas who are honorary members of the association, will also be present at the press conference.
Just a few months after the presentation of the of the EuroLeague Players Association, the creation of a coaches’ union is one more important step taken in the European basketball landscape, considering the fact that almost half of the EuroLeague coaches have already been fired during this season.
