EuroLeague Basketball issued a statement regarding the social media messages directed at CSKA Moscow forward Will Clyburn following the game of his team vs. Fenerbahce Beko.
On Friday (22/3), Clyburn revealed that his wife received some messages that included a death threat on the player, apparently by a Fenerbahce fan. EuroLeague announced that the person or persons responsible for the messages will be banned from EuroLeague and EuroCup games and that the organization will support Clyburn and his family “in any action they may consider taking.”
