Baskonia fans were asked to select their 12 favorite players in the EuroLeague history of the club as part of an homage ahead of the Final Four that will be hosted in Vitoria this season.
Out of the 103 players that have registered at least an hour with Baskonia in EuroLeague, fans picked the following 12: Luis Scola, Andres Nocioni, Pablo Prigioni, Elmer Bennett, Igor Rakocevic, Tiago Splitter, Tornike Shengelia, Arvydas Macijauskas, Mirza Teletovic, Ioannis Bourousis, José Manuel Calderon and Marcelinho Huertas.
12 special beer bottles have been created, personalized for each of the players. “The history of Baskonia will be drunk,” said Enrique Torguet, Communications Director of Cervezas Ambar, the brewery that cooperated with Baskonia for this tribute.
