Olympiacos is facing Zalgiris in a must-win game for both teams if they want to live another day in the EuroLeague playoffs race, without Vassilis Spanoulis and Janis Strelnieks.
As coach David Blatt confirmed to the press ahead of Friday’s game: “We don’t expect Spanoulis to play, while Strelnieks will also be out. We have to fill up for them. It will be tough but we can do it”.
Strelnieks’ absence was already expected, while Spanoulis still remains knock-out due to his recent injury in the game against Olimpia Milano.
