Afted Edy Tavares in October, Vasilije Micic in November, Jan Vesely in December, Alex Tyus in January and Mike James in February, it was Nick Calathes’ turn to achieve EuroLeague MVP of the Month status. Panathinaikos OPAP’s point guard averaged 21.8 PIR throughout the month to grab the MVP award for March.
Calathes led the Greens to 4-1 W-L record in March with 14.6 points, 10.2 assists and 6 rebounds per contest. He notched three double-doubles and missed his fourth by just one assist. His impressive month included Regular Season Round 28 MVP honors and the game-winning three-pointer against CSKA Moscow in Russia.
