Olimpia Milano will keep center Arturas Gudaitis in 2019-2020, as Gazzetta Dello Sport reported. The Lithuanian big guy had an NBA opt-out option in his contract for the upcoming offseason but will remain with the “Red Shoes.”
In January, Gudaitis had hinted to be close to joining the Cleveland Cavaliers this summer. The plan changed though after the player suffered a season-ending ACL injury in the EuroLeague game against Gran Canaria.
Gudaitis finished the EuroLeague season averaging 12.5 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.0 blocks over 23:48 in 21 games prior to his injury.
