CSKA Moscow announced that their Data Analytics Provider for the remainder of the 2018-19 season will be “Statathlon”, the analytics company which has also been collaborating with Eurohoops.
The announcement by CSKA is as follows:
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Statathlon Ltd as our team’s Data Analytics Provider for the duration of the 2018/19 season.
Statathlon provides Sports Data Analytics services for Performance Improvement, Talent Development, Game Management, Injury Prevention, and Fan Engagement. Through the single platform they utilize data that is collected from multiple sources (Bio-athletic, Psychometric, In-game, etc.) and is uniquely combined to create valuable support and insights for our coaches, athletes, club management, and fans.
Statathlon is based in Greece (Athens), and the United Kingdom (London). It has been recognized as a Top-15 Rising Sports Analytics companies in Europe (KPMG, 05/2018). In February 2019, Statathlon became a member of the Microsoft Global Sport Innovation Center (GSIC) in Madrid, Spain.
