Anadolu Efes and Barcelona Lassa will clash tomorrow (17/4) in Turkey at the start of the EuroLeague playoffs and although the guests’ coach Svetislav Pesic warned about the atmosphere that awaits them, he believes his team will be able to handle it: “We are going to play in an extremely hostile environment, against a team that knows how to use the support of their fans. I don’t feel pressure, we want victory and we know how to get to victory. We do not have nervousness, only tension that is present, but as part of concentration on our game plan”, he said.
Efes coach Ergin Ataman also recognized the importance of their fans and asked for their support as every playoff game is of utmost importance: “Each game is a final in the playoffs. We want our fans to increase the support and the motivation they gave us during the whole season and by playing a high-level game against a team with stars and a very experienced coach, we want to start the series with a victory.”
