After the Golden State Warriors defeated the Los Angeles Clippers and went up 2-1 in the best-of-seven series, Eurohoops asked Kevin Durant about his friendship with Sean Kilpatrick. The opening round of the NBA playoffs is in progress, so are the EuroLeague playoffs with Panathinaikos OPAP being behind 1-0 in the best-of-five series versus Real Madrid. The Greens have have the opportunity to tie on Friday night, before the series moves to Athens.
Minutes after scoring 38 points in the blowout victory against the Clippers, the 30-year-old American forward sent his message to his long-time friend mentioning: “Good luck for Game 2.” He added: “Win or lose or draw, he’s my brother. I know he’ll keep working.”

The two players became close through Brooklyn Nets’ assistant Adam Harrington, who was Durant’s shooting coach with the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2014-15. Harrington introduced them and they’ve been close friends ever since.
