After splitting the two games at Turkey, Anadolu Efes and FC Barcelona Lassa will face each other twice in Spain. If none of the two sides win both Wednesday’s and Friday’s matches, the two clubs will return to Istanbul for a decisive Game 5, an all-or-nothing match for a spot in the 2019 EuroLeague Final Four.
First things first for Ergin Ataman who ahead of Game 3 of the EuroLeague playoffs series explained: “The first two games against Barcelona were balanced. Now it’s 1-1 and both two teams know each other very well. The games are very tough. Offensively, we must play in high tempo and defensively we must protect the rim better.”
After scoring 7 points in the first two contests, James Anderson pointed out Efes is still able to make it to the Final Four. “It will be a challenge. But it is nothing that we have not done before. We will just have to fight and do our best to win” the 30-year-old American forward noted.
