EuroLeague Basketball announced disciplinary sanctions regarding incidents which occurred in Game 4 of EuroLeague playoffs.
Both Anadolu Efes coach Ergin Ataman and Barcelona coach Svetislav Pesic were sanctioned due to ‘lack of respect towards the officiating crew’. Ataman has been fined with 7,000€ while Pesic received a warning.
Euroleague Basketball has announced disciplinary sanctions pertaining to incidents that occurred in Game 4 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Playoffs. The sanctions are based on infractions of the competition by-laws that all teams are aware of and obliged to fulfill.
Mr Ergin Ataman, head coach of Anadolu Efes has been sanctioned with a fine of 7,000€ for acts that represent a lack of respect towards the officiating crew on occasion of its team’s away game against FC Barcelona under Article 27.2.b) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
Mr Svetislav Pesic, head coach of FC Barcelona has been sanctioned with a warning for acts that represent a lack of respect towards the officiating crew on occasion of its team’s home game against Anadolu Efes Istanbul under Article 27.2.b) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
