Sergio Rodriguez has fully recovered from the ankle injury and will be able to help CSKA Moscow in the EuroLeague Final Four (May 17-19) without any hindrance, the player himself confirmed to Russian news agency TASS.
“I’m 100 percent ready. I’ve fully recovered and will definitely play in the Final Four. I’m looking forward to playing against Real”, Rodriguez said.
The 32-year-old guard hurt his ankle during CSKA’s win over Nizhny Novgorod in Game 3 of the VTB League quarterfinals which the ‘Army Men’ won 3-0.
CSKA’s opponent in the semifinal will be Real Madrid, Rodriguez’s former team. In 33 EuroLeague games this season, the Spanish guard has averaged 9.9 points, 4.7 assists and 1.5 rebounds over 22:06 minutes.
