In the aftermath of Real Madrid Final Four Semifinal defeat and the self-criticism within the Whites, AS reports that the Spanish club is in advanced talks with Brandon Davies. Adding the 27-year-old American center will likely mean Gustavo Ayon will depart.
Davies is coming off 14.2 points, 5.5 boards and 2 assists per 2018-19 EuroLeague contest with Zalgiris Kaunas. He’s also averaging 11.9 points per game in the Lithuanian LKL.
No agreement is in place between Ayon and Real for a contract renewal. The 34-year-old big finished his 2018-19 EuroLeague campaign with 7.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.9 dimes per match.
