Aside from Andrew Albicy and Edwin Jackson, LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne desires to add at least one more experienced French player, Kim Tillie, per BasketballSphere. Of the three, Albicy is the only that has never before played for ASVEL. Tillie, 30, was with the French club and Jackson’s teammate from 2010 to 2012.
As 29-year-old Jackson, the 30-year-old big started his professional career with Villeurbanne. He moved on to UCAM Murcia in 2012 and made his EuroLeague debut with Baskonia in 2014. In 2017-18 he was a member of Olympiacos’ squad and remained in Europe’s premier competition during the 2018-19 season assisting Herbalife Gran Canaria.
Tillie posted 6.5 points and 2.7 rebounds per contest in the previous EuroLeague season. In 33 ACB matches, he averaged 5.9 points and 3.1 boards.
