Shortly after the Game 2 loss in the Turkish League Finals against Anadolu Efes, Fenerbahce Beko’s Kostas Sloukas received the tragic news that his father Ioannis Sloukas passed away earlier the same day (11/6).
The 69-year-old, a former police officer, was diagnosed with cancer months ago and has been experiencing significant health problems since.
The funeral will be held in Thessaloniki on Wednesday, June 12, at 18:30 for which Kostas will get special leave from Fenerbahce in order to be with his family.
