Panathinaikos OPAP has already presented a contract offer for next season, according to Eurohoops sources. The 27-year-old American forward is expected to be signed for the 2019-20 season with an option for the 2020-21 season.
Thomas joined the Greens last summer on a one-year deal. In the meantime, he averaged 10.5 points and 3.8 rebounds in EuroLeague action, added 13 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per Greek Basket League Regular Season contest.
The Ohio State alumni has pursued European opportunities for the largest part of his professional career. Aside Panathinaikos, he competed in the EuroLeague with Nanterre, Barcelona, Efes and Maccabi Tel Aviv en route for his total of 133 appearances in Europe’s premier competition.
