Valencia announced that Fernando San Emeterio will stay with the team for 2019-2020. The Spanish player had a renewal clause on his contract that the club activated in order to keep him for another season.
San Emeterio, 35, has been playing with Valencia since 2015. With the “Taronja”, the veteran swingman has won the 2017 Spanish League and Supercup titles plus the 2019 EuroCup.
In 2018-2019, San Emerio averaged 8.7 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in all competitions with Valencia.
Next season, San Emeterio will return to EuroLeague with Valencia for his ninth season overall in the championship.
