Fenerbahce Beko President Ali Koc has talked at the club’s financial general assembly about the overall situation which hasn’t been great recently.
Despite financial issues the club has been facing, Koc noted that the basketball department won’t suffer from it: “Fenerbahce basketball will not cut its budget. We will not let it happen.”
The total debt of the club is 530 million euros which is an improvement considering that last year, it was around 600 million. Fenerbahce basketball recorded a deficit of 17 million euros, however, the final number is expected to be smaller since sponsorships revenues are not included in this calculation.
