Guillem Vives signed a new contract with Valencia extending his stay with the Spanish club until 2021. The deal between the two sides includes an option for the 2021-22 season, as noted in the team’s announcement on Friday.
“I’m very happy to continue here” the 26-year-old Spaniard point guard mentioned and added: “Both sides wanted this deal.”
Vives is coming off 4.2 points, 2.4 assists and 1.4 rebounds in 19 appearances during the 2018-19 7DAYS EuroCup campaign. He helped his side capture the title and a spot in the 2019-20 EuroLeague season.
In ACB, he had 6.2 points, 2,5 assists and 1.5 rebounds per Regular Season game. He added 7.8 points, 2.7 assists and 2.3 rebounds per contest in the Playoffs.
