Crvena Zvezda announced that the club has signed team captain Branko Lazic to a three-year extension, until 2022.
Lazic has played for the majority of his professional career. The Serbian swingman signed with the team in 2011 and has remained there ever since.
In 2017, he was appointed team captain after signing a two-year deal with the club.
Lazic and Crvena Zvezda won the 2019 ABA League by beating Montenegrin side Buducnost Podgorica in the Finals. Claiming the ABA title granted Red Star a spot in the 2019-2020 EuroLeague.
