Evgeny Valiev left Zenit Saint-Petersburg and signed a two-year contract with Khimki Moscow Region. The move was revealed by Khimki via press release on Tuesday.
Following his lengthy stay at Zenit, the 29-year-old Russian big gained his opportunity for EuroLeague action. With his previous club, he played in 7DAYS EuroCup and FIBA Europe Cup.
On his 2018-19 campaign, Valiev averaged 4.5 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists in EuroCup. In VTB he notched 5.7 points per Regular Season contest and added 6.1 points per game during the Playoffs.
