Bayern Munich announced the extension of Nihad Djedovic’s contract until the summer of 2023, keeping the 29 years old Bosnian guard in their roster for four more seasons, as the club announced.
“I’ve always said frankly that Munich is a second home to me and FC Bayern is my second family, so I’m very happy and proud to stay here for the next four years,” said the 29-year-old on Friday in Barcelona, where he represented the German champs at the meeting of the players’ association in the EuroLeague headquarters. “I would like to thank everyone in the club who gave me such great support again this year. I enjoyed this long season very much, even though it was the most exhausting of my career so far. I will continue to do my utmost for FC Bayern Munich and I’m really looking forward to the future together with the club”.
Nihad Djedovic will be in his seventh season with the club from the beginning of October, having won the 2014, 2018 and 2019 championship titles in Germany. He has the records for more games played with Bayern in the German BBL (226) and more points scored (2719).
