CSKA Moscow announced that forward Alec Peters is leaving the club upon the expiration of his one-year contract with the team. Peters had signed with CSKA in July 2018.
2018-2019 was Peters’ debut season in Europe and EuroLeague. The 24-year-old sharpshooter averaged 5.3 points (shooting 43.3$ on 90 3-point attempts) and 2.7 rebounds in 16.6 minutes over 36 games in EuroLeague. CSKA won the title in the EuroLeague Final Four in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain with Peters playing 7.19 minutes in the championship game win over Anadolu Efes.
Peters also won the 2019 VTB League title with CSKA.
