Panathinaikos OPAP is looking ahead to next season and wants to keep Thanasis Antetokounmpo with a contract extension. However, according to reports by sdna.gr confirmed by Eurohoops sources, the initial contact between the two sides didn’t turn to a deal, as there is a financial gap between them.
Antetokounmpo’s contract with the Greens has just ended, while he is also eyed by Olympiacos per the same report.
In this past season, Antetokounmpo posted 4.2 points and 1.8 rebounds in 12 minutes per EuroLeague contest with the Greens.
